Whites Youngster scoops special match prize
Eleven year old Grace Miller who plays for the RTC Leeds Girls team and takes part in the Leeds United Foundation Soccer Schools programme scooped a special prize from club Chairman Andrea Radrizzani to honour her hard work and commitment.
Andrea handed Grace a special Family Ticket which not only let her watch the Tuesday night match against Fulham but her and her family got to sit with Andrea himself in the Director’s Box and enjoy first class hospitality.
The prize comes after Andrea visited the Foundation’s Soccer School programme and wanted to give a special prize to an individual who has shown an incredible amount of commitment to playing football.
The prize was handed to Grace to honour her excellent work ethic and attitude in her football development. Grace has also been selected for the Foundation’s Regional Talent Under 12s team after successfully completing trials.
The family, who live in Seacroft in Leeds, are all big Leeds United fans and have extended their thanks to both Andrea and the club for the generous prize.
Grace’s dad, Jason, said: “Grace absolutely loves her football and everything about Leeds United. The night was one she and her family will never forget. It was an honour for Grace to meet the Chairman of the club at the Soccer School but the prize was even better.
“Grace works really hard and wanted to keep up with her training over the summer holidays at the Soccer Schools. The holiday programmes are fantastic and give a fun and friendly environment for kids to play football.
“Thanks again Andrea for the amazing prize – we will never forget it!”
