Patricia, Countess of Harewood is the Patron of the Leeds United Foundation, the official charity of the famous Elland Road club. Lady Harewood, is the widow of the late Lord Harewood, George Lascelles, 7th Earl of Harewood and cousin of Her Majesty, The Queen. She is also currently Patron of Leeds United Football Club.
Patricia, Lady Harewood, said:
“It is a wonderful honour to represent the Leeds United Foundation as Patron. They are a charity which undertakes an extraordinary amount of work within the Yorkshire community and they play a vital role in supporting those most in need.
“The Foundation is the very heartbeat of Leeds United, in both a sporting and a community context and something the people of the city and Leeds United supporters themselves are extremely proud of. I will do everything I can to support this great cause and ensure they make even greater strides.”
Patricia, Lady Harewood resides at one of the country’s most historic homes, Harewood House, one of the Treasure Houses of England.
